Easingwold & District Art Society

[Private preview Friday 16 October. Invite only]

I’m delighted to be invited to Easingwold this October for an Artist in Residence weekend with the Easingwold & District Art Society.

I’ll be spending the weekend painting, sketching and working alongside local artists, with an opportunity to share my approach to painting wildlife, landscape and the places that inspire me.

The weekend will start with a private preview on Friday (invite only) and doors open to visitors 10am on Saturday 17 October. The exhibition will be open Saturday and Sunday, 10am – 4.30pm.

I am particularly looking forward to developing new work for the residency, and I will bring a selection of sketchbooks, studies, paintings and stories from my recent trip to the Outer Hebrides.

I will also have a range of prints and animal artwork available.

If you’re interested in contemporary British wildlife art, landscape painting or seeing an artist at work, I’d love to see you there.

In addition, there will be a fabulous exhibition of work produced by the members of Easingwold & District Art Society and other local artists. There will be a wide selection of original art and prints for sale.

There will also be tea, coffee and a fabulous selection of cakes available at the pop-up cafe.

You can find out more about the Easingwold & District Art Society via their website.
