Darlington Creates (Formerly Darlington Arts Festival) takes place annually and is co-ordinated by Darlington Borough Council & Darlington for Culture as a showcase for arts organisations, individuals, groups, activities and venues.

There is a wide range of stalls, a community hub and a programme of arts where workshops etc are held. 

 Taking place on Saturday 20th May 2023, the main event will take place in The Friends Meeting House and the hub next door on Skinnergate.

I am looking forward to returning to York Racecourse this season for the Living North Christmas Fair.

Living North’s Christmas Fair promises a fabulous day out with shopping, food and live music. This is one of the biggest and best seasonal shopping events in the North with over 250 carefully selected artisan designer-makers, local food producers, homeware, beauty, gifts and fashion. 

I attended my first event with Living North in 2021, and am really excited to return again. A great location and amazing shopping opportunities on offer! The food hall is incredible, and there will be plenty of luxury home and lifestyle vendors. I will have a selection of original art, fine art prints, greeting cards, calendars, coasters and fridge magnets. I hope to see you there!

This is the Harrogate debut of CONTEMPORARY ART FAIRS and promises to be a wonderful event. You will be treated to a glass of wine at the Friday preview and this family-friendly event includes live art demonstrations and a chance to meet hundreds of artists, sculptors and photographers. There is even a gift-wrapping service for your newly purchased artwork!

This is an excellent venue with good transport links and free parking.

My second time at Art in the Pen – and I can’t wait!

Art in the Pen is a highly regarded and popular art and craft event held annually at Skipton auction mart.

For two days, the animal pens are transformed into individual art booths and visitors get to wander through the aisles viewing hundreds of unique ‘shops’.

Art in the Pen started in 2005 as a relatively small event, but has now flourished into a sparwling and hugely popular weekend of creativity.

Art in the Pen is a ticket-only event, and the 2021 event sold out well ahead of the opening day, so do book early if you plan on attending. I can’t wait to see you there!

Vicki Davidson Art is looking forward to holding a trade stand at the 2022 Great Yorkshire Show – one of the biggest agricultural shows in the country!

The famous showground in Harrogate will this year host a four-day event jam-packed with agricultural shows, competitions, displays, entertainment, food, drink and shopping.

Vicki Davidson Art will be located in The Great Yorkshire Home and Gift Hall (Hall 1).

I will be selling a range of original artwork, fine art prints and printed canvases. I will also have a selection of my coasters and will also be launching my new Vicki Davidson wall calendar 2023!

I am really looking forward to being part of this spectacular event and hope to see you there!!

An event I am really excited to attend this summer!

Live cooking demonstrations, including chef James Martin and The Hairy Bikers.

A festival of food, drink, music, vintage funfair and crafting demonstrations. Hundreds of exhibitors and the best street food in the UK!

The fun starts on Friday 22nd July with live tribute bands, and the opportunity to camp for the weekend.

The event takes place at Funkirk Farm, Skipton.

Spot gives visitors to The Station an ever-changing display of art to enjoy and purchase, in a wide range of media.

Through this exhibition, The Station gathers together a fantastic range of talented artists and photographers. Whether the artist is a first time exhibitor, or they have been exhibiting for years, as a profession or a hobby, they sit side by side on the walls of the prestigious old station building.

Artists purchase a SPOT, where they hang a piece of work alongside an array of other fantastic artists. As a piece of art is sold from the artist’s spot, they can replace it with another. For visitors to The Station, the exhibition looks different every time.
