New York Gallery. Juried Exhibition
It is very exciting to take part in my first juried gallery exhibition.
This is an international group exhibition with New York based Artios Gallery
https://www.artiosgallery.com/
The exhibition is titled ‘Art Of Being Alone: The Memorable Moments Of My Life’.
‘Because of an unexpected global pandemic crisis, a notion of Surrealism became our Reality. Cloistered in homes, everyone had plenty of time for reflection and self-observation. Struggling with new challenges, people tried to find a balance in everyday life. For artists, this struggle has ended in possible and productive way – the creation of ART’
This year, I had big plans for my fledgling art career and I have most definitely made considerable progress but not at all in the way I planned! It is therefore quite fitting to be part of this exhibition which celebrates art and artists who, during the pandemic, have used their creativity as a way to find balance and focus. Although, I absolutely was not ‘cloistered’ in my home, rather juggling my art around my demanding hospital-based job and the needs of my family. It’s just as well I like to be busy and I like to be challenged!
Three of my works have been selected and the virtual gallery can be viewed here; https://www.artiosgallery.com/virtual-gallery Curator – Elena Dobrovolskaya www.ElenaDobrovolskaya.com
