Animals and birds are among my favourite subjects to paint. I am drawn to their individuality and character, and I aim for each piece to feel expressive and alive.

Much of my work is inspired by British wildlife, particularly hares, whose movement, energy and presence in the landscape I never tire of observing. My contemporary animal paintings explore the spirit of the natural world and surrounding landscapes through bold colour and confident mark making.
