One of my favourite subjects to paint!
I love to capture the unique character and individuality of each subject – I would like the viewer to almost know what they are thinking. I particularly like British wildlife, and especially hares! I don’t really know why I like painting hares so much, I just love their big feet, big ears and cheeky characters. It is also such a thrill to see a wild hare shooting across the field, or playing in groups at dusk. I am lucky to have lots of hares living in the countryside close to my house, and I never tire of seeing them.

Animals continue to inspire and intrigue me with their beauty and variety. I love to experiment with colour, in addition to different media, including oil, acrylic, pastel, charcoal, pencil and watercolour.
