Product Focus – Art Prints
A quick introduction and description of Vicki Davidson fine art prints!
Fine art prints are a great way to access fine art, created with quality materials, but without the price tag of an origianl piece.
Vicki Davidson prints are professionally produced using archival quality inks and fine art paper. I use a local company – Nidd Imaging– who describe the process of ‘Giclée prints’ on their website;
“Here at Nidd Imaging, our work is produced on the very latest large format Epson printers, using Epson’s latest Ultrachrome HDR ink set, which consists of 11 separate colours. This allows us to achieve a much closer reproduction to the original, especially the more vivid, saturated colours”.
Each print is personally checked by myself to ensure the origial artwork is perfectly matched for colour and tone.
Once I receive the prints, each one is signed and titled (and numbered for a limited edition) and then my framer carefully fixes the artwork into a card mount and fixes to a hardboard backing. This ensures the prints are beautifully displayed and carefully protected – ready for a frame of your choice.
All of the prints are acetate wrapped to ensure they are kept in pristine condition and protected from any knocks or moisture.
Most of my prints are available in three standard sizes of small, medium and large, however, bespoke sizes can be ordered so please get in touch if you wish to discuss a specific size or need help in choosing.
